Dedicated to Beverages

August 1, 2004

Dedicated to Beverages

InterBev, the biennial trade show dedicated to beverages, will be held Sept. 26-28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. According to show officials, the convention will offer something for everyone in the beverage business — producers, distributors and retailers of soft drinks, beer, bottled water, juice, ready-to-drink tea, milk, sports drinks, wine, distilled spirits and powdered drinks, as well as packaging and process engineers, production managers, marketing, warehousing, distribution managers and R&D personnel will all find new products and new technology at the show.
With the theme of “Dedicated Exclusively to Beverages (How Refreshing)”, InterBev’s organizers stress the inclusive nature of the show that encompasses all beverage categories. More than 500 exhibitors will showcase new beverage-related products, equipment and technology, and other marketing and distribution developments, and offer expert advice on those products.
“On InterBev’s exhibit floor, at networking receptions and course sessions, the industry’s leaders will have the opportunity to meet and convene at one place at one time.” says Eileen Baird, vice president and show manager for InterBev. “Our suppliers and buyers will have the chance to learn more about new products amongst peers and share fresh new ideas.”
Exhibits will include:
  Production and processing equipment
  Beverages
  Ingredients
  Packaging equipment
  Dispensing and vending equipment
  Containers and packaging materials
  Plant and maintenance equipment
  Conveying and materials handling equipment
  Trucks and transportation
  Merchandising
  Quality assurance/quality control
  Computer hardware/software
Special events
Unique to the InterBev show this year will be:
InterBev Oasis — A high-profile tasting area located on the show floor where attendees will be able to sample beverages from many of the exhibiting companies.
New Product Showcase — The New Product Showcase will feature the latest products in the industry.
Ochakovo Festival — InterBev’s very own beer festival will take place Monday, Sept. 27 at 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Free to all attendees 21 and over.
InterBev Conference — The Conference Program is free with registration and features topics such as The State of the Beverage Industry; We've Got Plans for Your Bottles and Cans; Healthy Beverages with Aseptic; Change the Game: How Common Food and Beverage Industry Myths Prevent You From Achieving a Competitive Advantage.
“We’re pleased that InterBev continues to act as the premier forum for the latest educational and business insights for the worldwide beverage industry,” says Baird. “InterBev’s various sessions complement the breadth and scope of product discoveries attendees will find on the show floor.”
