Bordeaux wines returned to Wine Riot this year for the second consecutive year.
Bordeaux offered tastes of a variety of newer red and white wines from the Bordeaux region of France.
Bonfire Wines displayed its wine pouches in a cooler to showcase some summer party suggestions. Bonfire Wines’ portfolio comprises its Ignite white wine blend and its Ember red wine blend.
Woodinville, Wash.-based Chateau Ste. Michelle highlighted its Anew Riesling, which it launched last year as an affordable Riesling option for women. The 2012 Columbia Valley Riesling blends peach flavor with a hint of spice, the company says.
Tapping into Moscato wine trends, Modesto, Calif.-based Madria Sangria highlighted its Moscato sangria.
Modesto, Calif.-based The Naked Grape represented the boxed wine segment with its Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Moscato, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir and Harvest Red Blend boxed wines, in addition to its bottled wines.
Representing Italian wines, Roscato Bianco Dolce is a sweet frizzante wine from Lombardy, Italy, that blends Moscato and Chardonnay wine to create an aperitif beverage.
The Wisconsin section of the Wine Riot tour of the world offered tastes of Crema Fina, which blends real dairy cream and wine.
Wine 101 booths offered consumers a quick tutorial about different aspects of wine, showing them the differences between oaked and unoaked wines, dry and sweet wines, young and mature wines, and “old world” and “new world” wines.
