Spirax Sarco is hosting a one-day Steam System Optimization Seminar on May 22 at its training facility in Longmont, Colo. During the seminar, participants will learn to effectively manage and validate their energy conservation measures within their steam energy system, the company says.

The training event will cover boiler operation optimization, steam distribution best practices, heat transfer best practices, condensate recovery optimization and best practices, flowmeter best practices for energy conservation, viewing of the “Inside the Boiler” video, and an introduction to the DOE-EERE best practice steam program.

While attending the course, participants also will have the opportunity to visit Spirax Sarco’s factory where its flowmeter products are manufactured. Additionally, Spirax Sarco will host a reception and welcome dinner May 21.
