On Jan. 30, Nestlé Waters North America is launching the reformulation of its Nestea line of ready-to-drink (RTD) teas. 

Nestlé Waters North America Inc. (NWNA), Stamford, Conn. has signed a distribution agreement with Polar Beverages Inc., Worchester, Mass., to manufacture, distribute and sell cans under the Nestea and Poland Spring brand names. The alliance, named Polar Strategic Ventures, will become effective July 15 and will cover the Eastern United States.

Nestea, a brand of Stamford, Conn.-based Nestlé Waters North America, announced the revival of the brand’s “Nestea Plunge” marketing effort with the new 2014 advertising campaign. This updated communication strategy is designed to promote Nestea’s new recipe, which features more flavor and fewer calories, the company says.

Nestlé Waters North America, Stamford, Conn., took its first step into the liquid concentrate segment by launching Nestea Liquid Water Enhancers exclusively in Target stores this month.

The Coca-Cola Co., Atlanta, and Nestlé S.A., Vevey, Switzerland, have agreed to focus the geographic scope of their ready-to-drink (RTD) tea joint venture known as Beverage Partners Worldwide (BPW) on Europe and Canada.
