Beverage Industry readers name their favorite product of the month

Verve MoJoe garners 58 percent of votes on bevindustry.com

As the weather warms up, it looks as though people are finding favor with iced varieties to give themselves a little pick me up. In Beverage Industry’s May New Products poll, readers voted Verve MoJoe as the top release posted on www.bevindustry.com during the month.

A brand of Tempe, Ariz.-based Vemma Nutrition Co., Verve MoJoe is a ready-to-drink iced coffee that features natural sweeteners, flavors and colors. The beverage contains 60 calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 6 grams of Reb A and cane sugar, and 80 mg of natural caffeine.

Voting for the poll took place between June 4 and 18 on www.bevindustry.com, where visitors were asked to vote for their favorite new product that was posted on the website between May 1 and 30.

Visitors also found favor with Lemonic ready-to-pour liqueur, which grabbed 18 percent of the vote; Narragansett Del’s Shandy, with 10 percent of the vote; Nuzee Inc.’s functional Coffee Blenders, with 7 percent of the vote; and KickDrop Beverages Inc.’s Drop2O, with 2 percent of the vote. These beverages rounded out the Top 5 favorite new products according to Beverage Industry readers.
