Brown-Forman Corp. launched Southern Comfort Bold Black Cherry, which combines Southern Comfort with whiskey and cherry flavors. The 70-proof spirit was designed to appeal to a broad age range and meet consumer demand for great tasting flavors that are unique, the company says. It also hopes to increase relevancy among younger consumers of legal drinking age, offering a bolder drink that’s ideal for high energy occasions, it adds. A 750-ml. bottle of Southern Comfort Bold Black Cherry retails for approximately $16.99.
