OrganicMe, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based subsidiary of True Me Brands, launched four new functional beverages that span multiple occasions and need states throughout the day, the company says. U.S. Department of Agriculture-certified organic and 100 percent natural, the drinks are packaged in 12-ounce Sleek cans from Chicago-based Rexam BCNA.
Portland, Ore.-based Boyd Coffee Co. is launching a new generation of single-serve coffees for single-cup coffee brewers. The new Boyd’s Coffee cups' soft mesh filters use less packaging than the traditional rigid-side cups and also enable coffee drinkers to smell the coffees’ fresh-roasted aromas, the company says.
Natural and organic trends continue to leave their mark on the consumer packaged goods market, as was shown at this year’s Natural Products Expo West tradeshow, which took place March 6-9 in Anaheim, Calif.
