Belvedere Vodka added to its Intense offerings with Belvedere Intense Unfiltered 80 proof vodka. Intense Unfiltered 80 is distilled four times from a superior baker’s grade grain called Dankowskie Diamond Rye. Belvedere is the first to distill this rye, the company says. The vodka is full-bodied and elegant with aromas of baked bread, toasted nuts and on the palate provides a combination of salted caramel, sea salt and white pepper. Belvedere Intense Unfiltered 80 is suggested to be a sip and savor vodka that can be served neat, with a splash of pressed apple or pear juice, or in a dirty martini, the company says. The vodka will be available for $34.99 in October in New York, Maryland, Washington, Oregon and Washington, D.C.
