Budweiser, a brand of Anheuser-Busch, launched its latest beer product in the celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Moon landing: Budweiser Discovery Reserve American Red Lager. The new lager is a limited-edition product brewed by female brewmaster Karissa Norrington, in support of the Folds of Honor Foundation, the company says. Discovery Reserve is brewed with medium-roast Voyager barley malt and features a light hoppy aroma, a toasted barley malt taste with a hint of toffee and a sharp finish, it adds. For every case of Discovery Reserve sold, Budweiser will donate $1 to the Folds of Honor Foundation. The limited-edition beer is available through September while supplies last.
