New line of CSDs features traditional soda flavors

Bai Brands, Princeton, N.J., announced the introduction of Bai Black, a line of carbonated beverages with traditional soda flavors. Available nationwide in January 2017, the Bai Black lineup will feature five flavors: Kohala Kola, Simbu Citrus, Rioja Root Beer, Jambi Ginger Ale and Colombia Cream.
Kalaheo, Hawaii-based KonaRed Corp. reported an 80 percent increase in consumer product sales plus delivery revenues to nearly $1.1 million for 2014, compared with nearly $605,000 the previous year. Net sales for the company, which includes consumer product sales, delivery fees and raw material ingredient sales, increased 39 percent to nearly $1.3 million, compared with nearly $906 million in 2013.
An estimated 5.2 million Americans suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, and although the majority are older than 65, younger-onset Alzheimer’s impacted 200,000 people last year, according to the Alzheimer’s Association, Chicago.
