To commemorate the expansion of its distillery, single malt Scotch whisky brand The Glenlivet introduced a limited release: The Glenlivet Founders Reserve. Master Distiller Alan Winchester specially crafted Founders Reserve in the tradition of the brand and its founder George Smith. The whisky has a rich, velvety smooth mouth followed by a long and lingering finish and a nose with a full array of fruity flavors, the company says. The taste is characterized by juicy Clementine and sweet caramel toffee with a hint of cinnamon and raisin. Founders Reserve will be available in 750-ml. bottles in a limited quantity for a suggested retail price of $375.
