Rishi Tea Botanical teas

Rishi Tea introduced five organic and caffeine-free herbal teas in tins for retail. Each tea is a blend of natural botanicals, spices and fruits that is formulated for flavor and effect, the company says. The line includes Bergamot Sage, Cinnamon Plum, Tangerine Ginger, Hibiscus Berry and Chamomile Medley. Bergamot Sage blends sage with citrus, lemon thyme and peppermint. Cinnamon Plum contains currants, hibiscus and plum with notes of cinnamon and sweet licorice root. Tangerine Ginger is complex array of sweet, spicy, tart and fruity flavors, the company says. Hibiscus Berry combines currants, forest berries and hibiscus. A blend of chamomile, lemongrass and spearmint, Chamomile Medley takes advantage of chamomile’s history for an herbal cure-all of nervousness, migraines and colds, the company says. The line is packaged in tins with hand-drawn illustrations of the ingredients and is available at select Whole Foods Markets nationwide for $9.99.
