Honest Tea marks first Coca-Cola brand available in K-Cup packs

Waterbury, Vt.-based Keurig Green Mountain Inc. and Atlanta-based The Coca Cola Co. expanded their partnership to offer select beverages from The Coca-Cola Co.’s still brands portfolio for the Keurig hot brewing system in the United States and Canada. Honest Tea will be the first brand from The Coca Cola Co. available in K-Cup packs, the companies say.

Waterbury, Vt.-based Keurig Green Mountain Inc. and Northfield, Ill.-based Kraft Foods Group Inc. announced a multi-year licensing, manufacturing and distribution agreement for Kraft's branded coffees in Keurig portion pack formats compatible with Keurig consumer and commercial brewing systems in the United States.

Keurig Green Mountain Inc., Waterbury, Vt., closed on the purchase of a 585,000-square-foot manufacturing facility in Douglasville, Ga., which will be responsible for producing pods for the company’s new Keurig Cold platform, set to launch in fiscal-year 2015.

Waterbury, Vt.-based Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. (GMCR) and Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Krispy Kreme have reached a multi-year agreement to bring Krispy Kreme signature coffee to K-Cup packs for the Keurig brewing system. The companies plan to launch Krispy Kreme coffees in Smooth and Decaf varieties in K-Cup packs online at keurig.com, krispykreme.com as well as at participating Krispy Kreme shops, grocery, retail and away-from-home channels throughout the United States by the end of the year.

The Dunkin' Donuts' holiday coffee celebration includes discounts on packaged coffee and Dunkin' Donuts K-Cup packs, a T-shirt created through the brand's global design challenge, and Dunkin' Donuts Cards with festive holiday designs.

Canton, Mass.-based Dunkin’ Brands will celebrate National Coffee Day, which is Sunday, Sept. 29, by treating fans to a free small cup of Dunkin’ Donuts hot or iced coffee via a mobile offer eligible at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants throughout the United States.
