Denver-based Molson Coors Brewing Co. and Hornell Brewing Co. Inc., Woodbury, N.Y., an affiliate of AriZona Beverages, announced a partnership agreement whereby Molson Coors will market and distribute a new flavored malt beverage (FMB) brand, Arnold Palmer Spiked Half & Half, in the United States through its U.S. division, MillerCoors.
Company retains all rights to current portfolio brands in US and Puerto Rico

Molson Coors Brewing Co., Denver and Montreal, announced the successful completion of its previously announced acquisition of London-based SABMiller plc’s 58 percent stake in MillerCoors LLC, Chicago, the joint venture formed in the United States and Puerto Rico by both companies in 2008.
Appointments to take effect upon MillerCoors acquisition

Molson Coors Brewing Co., Denver, announced that it has made a number of new leadership appointments that will take effect upon the close of its acquisition of Chicago-based MillerCoors, which is expected before the end of the year, it says.
SABMiller plc, London, and Molson Coors Brewing Co., Denver, reported that its joint venture MillerCoors’ first quarter underlying net income increased 16.6 percent to $175.3 million and total net sales increased 3.6 percent to $1.76 billion compared to the first quarter of 2011. The companies attributed the performance to positive pricing growth, cost management and favorable mix.
Mike Glade, director of water resources for Denver-based Molson Coors, was selected to serve a two-year term as the North American representative on the Steering Committee of the United Nation’s CEO Water Mandate.
