Over the course of the past year, the James B. Beam Distilling Co. and Freddie Noe released The Hardin’s Creek Kentucky Series, a three-part series of Kentucky Straight Bourbons that aimed to showcase how terroir can impact the final flavor of a liquid.

An example of exploration, and experimentation, each expression was laid down at the same time 17 years ago, with the same mash bill and production process. The only difference was the location of aging. Each expression is named after the James B. Beam Distilling Co. campus on which it matured: Hardin’s Creek Clermont (released June 2023), followed by Frankfort (released August 2023), and finally Boston (released September 2023).

Now all are available with the release of The Hardin’s Creek Kentucky Series Trio. The Trio features three 200-ml bottles: one of Clermont, Frankfort and Boston. The Trio allows whiskey fans to experience each expression side-by-side and discover how the nuances and diverse landscapes at each campus have affected the flavor profile.

As Freddie Noe, 8th Generation Master Distiller of the Fred B. Noe Distillery said in June for the launch of The Hardin’s Creek Kentucky Series: “The Kentucky Series is a testament to the influence of location and how nature plays such a vital role in liquid maturation. While these three bourbons were made with the same mash bill and aged in Kentucky, the micro-climates and environments at each location are distinctly different, which greatly impacts the taste of each product. As my Granddaddy Booker Noe said, ‘Set it and let nature take over.’”

The tri-pack can be purchased via ReserveBar and select markets for a suggested retail price of $169.99.
