Odwalla, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Coca-Cola Co., developed a line of smoothies for children. Odwalla Smoothies for Kids features a smooth texture and one serving of fruit per container, the company says. The line is available in Strawberry Banana Jungle, Mango Pineapple Island and Grape Berry Prairie varieties in 6.75-ounce boxes sold individually and in four-packs. Each variety contains between 110 and 120 calories, vitamin C and no added sugar. Additionally, the packaging will display the HealthyChildren.org logo to demonstrate Odwalla’s support of the American Academy of Pediatrics. A single-serve box retails for approximately $1.49, and a four-pack has a suggested retail price of $5.99.
