Mike McGrath announced he will retire as president of sales at Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages, Plano, Texas, at the end of the year. Jim Johnston has been selected to succeed him as executive vice president of sales, and McGrath, who has been with the company for more than 20 years, will stay on in a consulting role to assist in the transition... Ocean Spray Cranberries, Lakeville-Middleboro, Mass., has selected Kenneth G. Romanzi as senior vice president and chief operating officer, overseeing domestic marketing, sales, and research and development. Stewart M. Gallagher will be Romanzi’s counterpart in the global marketplace as senior vice president and chief operating officer of Ocean Spray International. Gallagher also will oversee development of new marketing, sales and distribution alliances with Ocean Spray partner companies... John Dresel has been named president and chief operating officer at Tully’s Coffee, Seattle. Dresel was president of Ackerley Television Group, and he replaces Tony Gioia, who left the company in July... Vitality Foodservice Inc., Tampa, Fla., has named Gary M. Viljoen chief executive officer and John C. Minton chief operating officer. The announcements were made concurrently with the acquisition of Vitality by Goldner Hawn Johnson & Morrison and MVC Capital, Babson Capital and Lexington Partners... Gerardo “Gerry” Lopez has been tapped as senior vice president at Starbucks Coffee Co. and president of global consumer products... Micropack Corp., Natick, Mass., has named Christopher La Corata vice president of operations, overseeing five bottling operations, quality assurance and supply chain... Scott McCreary has become chief operating officer at Green Mountain Coffee Roaster, Waterbury, Vt... Ingo Hohorst has been named global sales director at Maxxium Worldwide.
