Cup Labeling Adds New Wrinkle To Beverage Identity Options 

Labeling bottles, cans and related containers is commonplace in the beverage industry, but the R-Series Cup and Tub Shrink Labeling System from PDC International Corp. gives beverage manufacturers the ability to apply shrink sleeve labels to tapered or conical containers at speeds as fast as 300 cups per minute while maintaining side-to-side graphic orientation. Cups are fed upside-down into the sleeve applicator’s special product handling section that eliminates product backlog or shingling. Optional container static reduction systems, hold-down belts and blow-off dryers also are available.
