Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated opens new warehouse

Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated, Charlotte, N.C., opened its new $4 million warehouse, located on a 6.5 acre lot in Horry County, S.C.

The company expects the new facility, which will be used for both warehousing and distribution, to create 10 jobs. About 40 employees will relocate to the new facility, bringing the total number of employees to 50.

“This new facility will allow us to provide even more exceptional service to our coastal customers,” said Alison Patient, Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated’s director of corporate affairs, in a statement. “In addition, we will be able to more easily reach several of our markets in the Southeast and meet the increasing demand of our customers.”
