The Double-Cola Co. introduced lemon-lime soda, Chaser, to the U.S. market. Previously available overseas, Chaser is made with natural flavors and is caffeine free. Chaser was launched in a limited-edition made with pure cane sugar variety of the lemon-lime soda in 12-packs of cans. Chaser also is available in 20-ounce PET and 2-liter PET bottles. The company also added Caffeine-Free Diet Ski soda. The citrus flavored soft drink is an alternative for consumers who prefer sugar-free, caffeine-free options, the company says. Double-Cola Co. also reformulated its Diet Double-Cola variety with a new blend of sweetening ingredients. It also re-named its Cherry Ski product, Ski: InfraRED. Double-Cola Co.’s products are available primarily east of the Mississippi River.
