DuClaw Brewing Co. announced the winning 2012 H.E.R.O. beer: Chocolate Chipotle Stout. All sales of the beer will be donated to The Alysha Miller Harris Baby Fund, benefiting the wife and unborn child of Ben Harris, an employee of the Redhook Brewery in New Hampshire who died when a plastic keg that he was cleaning exploded. The stout balances a spicy chipotle pepper bite with smooth, silky chocolate and a strong 7.5 percent alcohol by volume, the company says. A limited number of 22-ounce bottles will be available at select retail locations beginning Oct. 24 with a suggested retail price between $8.99 and $9.99.
