, Akron, Ohio, held a Commercial Tire Academy Boot Camp in Dallas, during which Goodyear tire sales representatives underwent a week of intense training to learn more about tire issues and how they affect a customer’s tire program.
Kenworth Truck Co., Kirkland, Wash., announced its Clean Power no-idle system is fully compliant with the California Air Resources Board’s 2008 idling regulations for sleeper trucks with 2007 and later model engines. Zebra Technologies Corp., Vernon Hills, Ill., announced its line of Zebra ZPL-based thermal printers is able to communicate directly and seamlessly with Oracle XML Publisher. The company also released a report on five trends that will impact retail technology in 2008.
As part of its manufacturing expansion plans, Multi-Color Corp., Sharonville, Ohio, announced its purchase of a 247,000-square foot building in Batavia, Ohio.
Saddle Creek Corp., Lakeland, Fla., announced its third-party logistics company’s subsidiary, Saddle Creek Transportation Inc., has installed wireless communications in its fleet of trucks.
Terra Technology, Norwalk, Conn., announced Robert F. Byrne, president and chief executive officer, presented “Going Green Through Better Math” at the United National Information and Communications Technologies and Climate Change Conference in New York City, Nov. 28.
