Leinenkugel's Limited

Leinenkugel Brewing Co., a division of MillerCoors’ Tenth and Blake Brewing Co., reintroduced a long-time fan favorite — Leinenkugel’s Limited. Leinenkugel’s Limited is a slow-brewed blend of four select barley malts, such as Carmel, Munich, Carapil and Pale, and aromatic, bittering Cluster and Cascade hops. The variety is aged longer than many American lagers, which creates a smooth, rich flavor and golden hue, the company says. Leinenkugel’s Limited was first introduced 25 years ago as a fall seasonal and became a year-round offering in 1990. In 1995, the beer was re-named Northwoods Lager to reflect its year-round availability, the company says. By 2000 the beer was no longer part of the line except for a short-term release in 2008, the company says. The beer will return for a limited-time in six-packs and on draft in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Iowa, Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.
