Pernod Ricard USA, a subsidiary of Pernod Ricard SA, released a new line of Café de Paris sparkling wines. The company expects the wines to benefit from category trends toward premium wines and French sparkling wines. Available in Pear and Pomegranate flavors, Café de Paris sparkling wines contain 10 percent alcohol by volume and feature a slightly sweet taste, the company says. Its Parisian personality directly targets millennial females looking for a more premium option within the wine category, it adds. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $12.99.
