Seattle’s Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends

Seattle's Best Coffee Frozen Coffee BlendsSeattle’s Best Coffee, part of Starbucks Corp., and specialty food manufacturer Inventure Foods Inc. have teamed up to launch Seattle’s Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends. This new product launch represents a move to bring frozen coffee into the home as a response to the growing popularity of at-home blending and the rise of blended coffee drinks, the companies say. Seattle’s Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends is made with 100 percent Arabica coffee beans and will be available in four flavors: Coffee Chiller, Creamy Caramel, Very Vanilla and Mega Mocha. To make the drink, consumers must empty the contents of the frozen bag into a blender, add 8 ounces of fat-free milk and blend to make two, 8-ounce beverages in less than a minute, the companies explain. In addition, the Seattle’s Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends feature zero trans fats, 9 grams of sugar and 130 calories in each serving when prepared as directed. With a suggested retail price between $2.99 and $3.49, Seattle’s Best Coffee Frozen Coffee Blends will be sold in 8-ounce, stand-up vertical bags located in the freezer section of grocery stores and mass retailers in spring 2013.
