POM Wonderful launches POMx Antioxidant Recovery

POM Wonderful, Los Angeles, released POMx Antioxidant Recovery, a combination of concentrated POM Wonderful 100 percent Pomegranate Juice and POMx extract.
Designed to meet the recovery needs of trained athletes and provide them with a competitive edge, POMx Antioxidant Recovery is powered by polyphenol antioxidants from the Wonderful variety of pomegranate, the company said. Recent research has shown Wonderful pomegranates can help speed muscle recovery and reduce muscle soreness following strenuous exercise, it said.
By providing muscle recovery benefits and delivering double the amount of polyphenol antioxidants found in an 8-ounce serving of POM Wonderful 100 percent Pomegranate Juice, the recommended 2-ounce daily serving of POMx Antioxidant Recovery complements a fitness regimen that combines exercise and healthy eating, POM Wonderful said. POMx Antioxidant Recovery is an all-natural, gluten-free supplement that can enhance morning smoothies, post-workout shakes, and electrolyte and recovery drinks.
POMx Antioxidant Recovery is available in 16-ounce bottles, which retail for $24.95. The supplement is sold exclusively online.
