Joint venture in the Southwest

Potencia USA LLC and Bebida Beverages Co. announced another joint venture in the Southwest market. Bebida chief executive officer Brian Weber took preliminary steps toward establishing a co-packing facility in the Grand Prairie area in Texas, which will more than likely be a subsidiary of the company named Bebida Beverage Bottling Co, he says. The goal is to establish their own facility to produce their products, the companies say. The two companies’ plan is to expand in the Southwest, South Africas, Mexican and South American markets.
 
“Being able to pack our own products helps in many ways,” Weber said. “We won’t have to ship so far when we sell our products in the entire Southwest and Mexico. We can ship our international sales out of the Port of Houston and we will increase shareholder value by adding equity in equipment and higher margins on our products.”
