Although many beverage trends come and go, energy has become one of the top functions consumers continue to demand from beverages. And today’s consumers want more than just energy — they want beverages that cater to health-and-wellness trends, and the energy drink category is no exception.
With more than 77,000 attendees, the 36th annual Natural Products Expo West and Engredea experienced another record-setting year with 6.9 percent growth. Produced by New Hope Network, Boulder, Colo., the 2016 Expo West brought together more than 3,000 exhibiting companies, including more than 600 first-time exhibitors. The show took place March 9-13 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif.
