NBWA's 75th Annual Convention will take place October 14 - 17, 2012, in San Diego, California.

NBWA’s Annual Convention is designed to provide valuable education programs and important networking opportunities for the beer industry. Education programs offered during the Convention feature speakers and seminars on a number of topics of importance to beer distributors. Scheduled each year in the fall, the NBWA Convention takes place in a different city within the United States. During non-Trade Show years, NBWA's associate members and brewery members host hospitalities to maintain their business contacts and form new connections and relationships with distributors. 

Every odd-numbered year, the Convention is held in conjunction with the biennial Trade Show. This very special event is held in Las Vegas, Nevada, and it gives beer distributors an opportunity to interact with brewers and vendors and make valuable contacts for future business needs. The Trade Show introduces distributors to new brewers as well as new products, innovative technologies and vendors who supply the materials needed to run their operations.

NBWA's 74th Annual Convention and Trade Show took place October 16-19, 2011, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. NBWA appreciates the generous support of the 2011 Convention and Trade Show sponsors.

How beer brands are using social media to connect with consumers

Social media has become a buzzword for not just American consumers but also the business environment. Companies are turning to various social media channels to create brand awareness or possibly boost retail sales. Beer brands also are turning to social media to make their stories heard. Brand Chorus, a division of New York-based TippingGardner, conducted a Beer StoryScore Index for Beverage Industry. StoryScore is a quantitative measure of a brand’s storytelling through social management based on creativity, strategy and personality.
