2015 Food Safety Summit encourages discussion with government officials
Event adds session about foodborne disease outbreaks
The 2015 Food Safety Summit, which will take place April 28-30 in Baltimore, will continue its goal of “Providing Solutions for Today and Planning for Tomorrow” with focused sessions on the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) updates, a full-day forum on integrating the nation’s food safety system, a session on the 2014 foodborne outbreak and much more.
Right before the conference, show host BNP Media, the Troy, Mich.-based parent company of Beverage Industry, will offer pre-conference Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) and Seafood HACCP training on April 27. To kick off the event on April 28, The Association of Food and Drug Officials will present a full-day information-sharing forum to provide updates on the many efforts and projects in place to integrate the nation’s food safety resources.
