Dunkin’ Donuts, Canton, Mass., welcomed three new caramel iced coffee flavors to its collection: Caramel Turtle, Caramel Almond and Caramel Mocha. Available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants for a limited time nationwide, the freshly brewed iced beverages join Dunkin’ Donuts’ lineup of iced coffee flavors, including Blueberry, Cinnamon, Hazelnut and Raspberry.

“With temperatures heating up across the country just in time for the first day of spring, many of our guests are celebrating with a refreshing iced coffee,” said John Costello, chief global marketing and innovation officer at Dunkin’ Brands, in a statement. “With the addition of our limited-time-only caramel iced coffee flavors, guests have more options than ever to customize their favorite warm-weather beverage for that perfect pick-me-up.”

In addition, Dunkin’ Donuts is commemorating the change of seasons and return of warm weather with a special one-day Dunkin’ Donuts Spring Begins IceDD Coffee Twitter sweepstakes. All day today, Twitter followers of @DunkinDonuts can tweet how Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee adds an extra spring in their step using the hashtag #IceDD. Participants have a chance to win one of 10 $50 Dunkin’ Donuts gift cards along with a Dunkin’ Donuts cup koozie, the company says.

Dunkin’ Donuts uses a process called double-brewing that uses twice the amount of coffee when making the beverage to achieve consistent flavor and freshness that are never compromised at the expense of serving the beverage cold, according to the company.
