Back to rootsRedhook Brewery, Woodinville, Wash., is celebrating its 30th birthday by unveiling a new look, including bottles, labels, bottle caps and packaging. The new look includes easy-to-spot labels and packaging across all Redhook beers. Each beer style is identified by a unique color scheme and Redhook’s Beer-O-Meter on the side helps consumers pick between refreshing, smooth, bold, and dark varieties. Redhook also debuted a new bottle with bottle caps that depict iconic images and phrases from Redhook’s 30-year history.
Earth Day bottleFetzer Vineyards, Hopland, Calif., is celebrating its earth-friendly winemaking practices, by releasing a limited-edition Earth Day bottle featuring a new label designed by local artist Anne Kessler. Additionally, in honor of Earth Day, Fetzer is donating $10,000 to Leave No Trace, an organization dedicated to the responsible enjoyment and active stewardship of the outdoors. Fetzer’s 2010 Chardonnay will be released in the commemorative Earth Day bottle in limited quantities beginning this month for $8.99.
