Initially available at select retailers in Los Angeles and New York, the brand consists of purified drinking water that is processed using reverse osmosis as well as carbon- and micro-filtration; ultraviolet- and ozone-treated; and infused with electrolytes. The name of the brand comes from the meaning of the three numbers: 1 stands for unity, 3 stands for trinity, and 8 stands for infinity. Additionally, Urban Dictionary defines 138 as “I love you,” based on 1 meaning, 3 words and 8 letters. The brand is for people who love water, fashion, color and choices, the company says. It is available in Cool Blue, Leave-Me-Alone Black, Pretty in Pink, Sunshine Yellow, Funky Purple, Sexy Red, Going Green and Orange You Glad We Made Orange colored bottles and sold individually and in six-packs of each color. A 1-liter bottle has a suggested retail price of $1.99.
