Honest Tea Passion Fruit Green Tea with Maqui Berry

Honest Tea launched Passion Fruit Green Tea with Maqui Berry, a ready-to-drink organic bottled tea sweetened with organic stevia. Passion Fruit Green Tea with Maqui Berry is a blend of U.S. Department of Agriculture certified organic green tea that combines sweet and tart notes of passion fruit with maqui berry, a South American superfruit. The tea is the first zero-calorie tea sweetened with organic stevia extract to join Honest Tea’s PET line of beverages. As part of the variety’s introduction, Honest Tea is partnering with Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. Bottles of Passion Fruit Green Tea with Maqui Berry will have limited-edition Komen for the Cure pink labels and caps. In addition, Honest Tea will donate $100,000 this year to the foundation.The variety is available for $1.79 in retail stores in New England and the Mid-Atlantic. In September, distribution will expand to the West and East coasts, the company said.
