Navistar
Michael Noonan is the Director, Regulatory, Certification and Compliance for Navistar. In this capacity, he is responsible for the management of all aspects of the company’s relationship with North American regulatory agencies including the Environmental Protection Agency, California Air Resources Board, and Environment Canada. This includes regulatory affairs with a focus on the interpretation, development and implementation of current and future regulatory requirements into Navistar’s product strategy.
In addition, he is responsible for all certification and compliance obligations for Navistar’s North American powertrain and vehicle product portfolio including both conventional diesel, gasoline, and propane applications, as well as eMobility battery electric and fuel cell applications.
Noonan joined Navistar in 2006 and has held various engineering and management positions primarily focused on powertrain performance and emissions including calibration, and certification testing for heavy-duty on-highway, off-road, and marine applications.
Noonan began his career with Honda of America in 2001 holding several roles of increasing responsibility. These included roles within auto quality and product development covering performance and emissions as well as certification testing for passenger cars and light-duty trucks and SUVs.
