This year, Equality Day on Aug. 26, marked the 100th anniversary of women’s right to vote. To celebrate the event, Jane Walker by Johnnie Walker supported the nonprofit Monumental Women in the unveiling of the Women’s Rights Pioneers Monument, the first monument depicting real women in NYC's Central Park’s 167-year history.
Featuring suffragists Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony and Sojourner Truth, the statue honors the fight for women’s equality and voting rights. Jane Walker by Johnnie Walker and actress and activist Sophia Bush hosted “A Toast to Equality Day” on IGTV, which featured , conversations with Phenomenal Woman Action Campaign founder Meena Harris and activist Brittany Packnett Cunningham.
