Phusion Projects has released Basic Hard Seltzer in four flavors: Cranberry, Lemon, Cucumber and Pamplemousse (grapefruit). The four flavors were modeled after a consumer take Basic Vodka and soda, which is with a splash of grapefruit or cranberry and a squeeze of lemon or cucumber, the company says. The company’s phone number also is printed on the lid of every can, and consumers can text it for information about the product. The gluten-free beverage has no added sugar, 1 gram of carbohydrates, 90 calories and is 4.5 percent alcohol by volume. The beverage comes in 12-packs of each flavor, as well as an all-flavor variety pack for a suggested retail price ranging from $14.99 to $18.99.
