Dunkin' Donuts adds fruit smoothies and other low-calorie options
Brand offers variety and showcases beverage leadership
Dunkin' Donuts, Canton, Mass.,announced that fruit smoothies and other new frozen beverages will be added to its lineup. Participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants will offer two varieties of freshly prepared fruit smoothies — Strawberry Banana and Tropical Mango. At 260 calories or less for a 16-ounce serving, both smoothies are made with real fruit and low-fat yogurt, the company says.
Dunkin' Donuts' newest beverage offerings also will include the Frozen Dunkaccino, a frozen version of its popular hot Dunkaccino featuring a blend of mocha and coffee flavors, as well as a new Coolata Lite, which offers consumers 33 to 80 percent fewer calories for its Coolattas, it says. New lite Coolata flavors include the Frozen Coffee Coolatta, Minute Maid Orange Coolatta, Strawberry Coolatta and Vanilla Bean Coolatta, as well as the summer Coolatta flavors of Frozen Arnold Palmer Coolatta Lite and Mango Passionfruit Coolatta Lite, the company says.
