David Michael & Co. highlights alcohol, international flavors
Innovation Roadshow shares flavor innovations with clients
David Michael & Co. hosted its 11th annual Innovation Roadshow on May 2 at the Hyatt Regency at Penn’s Landing in downtown Philadelphia. The flavor company introduced more than 250 attendees, including domestic and international customers, student volunteers from the University of Delaware’s food science department, and local and trade media representatives, to samples of 25 never-before-seen food and beverage products developed by its global technical team that highlight the latest flavor trends.
One of the beverage trends the David Michael & Co. team highlighted at the event was the increasing interest in non-alcohol cocktails. In line with this, the company showcased its Adults Only flavors line, which mimics the taste of alcohol cocktails, including gin-and-tonics, Bloody Marys and Margaritas, and even exhibits the warming sensation associated with alcohol beverages.
