New equipment expands number of locations suited for the fountain technology
Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. added three new models to its Coca-Cola Freestyle fountain equipment portfolio to help expand the number of locations suited for the technology, the company says. Like the full-size Freestyle machines, the new countertop units offer multiple beverage choices, including low- and zero-calorie options, and an interactive touchscreen experience but in a smaller unit size. The new Coca-Cola Freestyle countertop dispensers will be piloted by the end of the year, the company says.
"Since Coca-Cola Freestyle made its debut in 2009, it has proven to be a game-changer," said Jennifer Mann, vice president and general manager for Coca-Cola Freestyle, in a statement. "People are amazed by the variety of choices, and our customers see increased sales. Through a relentless focus on innovation, we are now able to provide a Coca-Cola Freestyle dispenser appropriate for the unique needs of customers while still giving the same great beverage experience."
