Beverage companies respond to flooding in Colorado
Brand owners donate water, money to relief effort
In response to the recent flooding in Colorado, beverage companies are donating to the affected communities to help with the relief effort.
Massive floods caused by torrential rains that began on Sept. 9 in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains have destroyed at least 1,800 homes in the two hardest-hit Colorado counties of Larimer and Boulder, and caused property losses estimated at nearly $2 billion statewide, according to Reuters.
To help those affected by the flood, St. Louis-based Anheuser-Busch, a subsidiary of Anheuser-Busch InBev, has provided 2,156 cases of emergency drinking water to the American Red Cross for their use in flood relief efforts in Colorado.
