Jamba Juice Co., Emeryville, Calif., announced significant progress with the opening of its 404th JambaGo served location. The company’s JambaGo initiative was designed to facilitate the rapid expansion of Jamba’s brand presence into venues such as at K-12 schools, college campus and university locations, convenience stores, grocery delis and entertainment venues where healthier quick-serve options have become an essential component of the menu offerings, the company says.
“The JambaGo concept has proven to be an innovative and differentiated solution for foodservice providers seeking healthier beverage options for their constituents,” said James D. White, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Jamba Juice Co., in a statement. “We are very pleased with our progress and expect to open an additional 1,000 served locations in 2013. The popularity of our brand and quality of our products have facilitated rapid expansion of the JambaGo concept and broadened brand awareness among new fans in new locations across the U.S.”
