Pernod Ricard USA launched Deadbolt red wine, a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Petite Syrah and Syrah varietals from California. The wine features a red fruit aroma and flavors of black cherry, mocha and brown spice, the company says. The brand’s packaging and branding was designed to attract the adventurous consumer, it adds. A 750-ml bottle retails for approximately $15.99.
