Dogfish Head’s lineup includes 34 beers with ingredients and brewing processes inspired by a range of ancient recipes, music, collaborations and Founder and President Sam Calagione’s own ideas. Beyond its beers, the craft brewery’s off-centered approach also applies to its marketing activities, human resources efforts and business expansion plans.
Dogfish Head remains dedicated to both the creativity and processes that have grown the company from its start as a brewpub in nearby Rehoboth Beach, Del., to this year’s expected 170,000 barrel production, Calagione says.
