Beverage sales contribute to McDonald's April growth
McDonald’s, Oak Brook, Ill., announced April sales grew nearly 4 percent in the United States. The growth partially was attributed to beverages sales, including new McCafe Frappes, the company said. McDonald’s also reported 4.9 percent global comparable sales growth.
In the United States, McDonald’s reported 3.8 percent growth for the month of April. Beverages, Chicken McNuggets and its all-day, everyday value message helped McDonald’s remain a relevant and affordable choice for consumers, the company said.
