Brand partners with Oakland Athletics in distribution, advertising agreement

Beginning with their 2014 Opening Homestand on March 29, the Oakland Athletics will introduce Zevia as the first-ever naturally sweetened, zero-calorie carbonated soft drink (CSD) in Major League Baseball. The team’s partnership with the Culver City, Calif.-based beverage company will make Zevia’s Ginger Ale, Cola, Ginger Root Beer, Cream Soda, Black Cherry and Grape CSDs available at concessions throughout O.co Coliseum in branded coolers.

Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo announced a national partnership with New York Yankees second baseman Robinson Cano. Additionally, the Pepsi Lipton Tea Partnership, a joint venture between PepsiCo and London-based Unilever, paired Yankees relief pitcher David Robertson with its Lipton Iced Tea brand to bring the “wave” back to the baseball stadium.
MLB legends, contest winners take the field May 18 in Rochester, N.Y.

For the second consecutive year, Pepsi Max, a brand of Purchase, N.Y.-based PepsiCo, will host a gathering of Major League Baseball (MLB) legends at the 2013 Pepsi Max MLB Field of Dreams Game. This year's game will take place May 18 at Frontier Field in Rochester, N.Y., featuring an American League (AL) vs. National League (NL) match-up with MLB legends and the consumer winners from the Pepsi Max MLB Field of Dreams promotion.
