For the first time, 7-Eleven, Irving, Texas, is offering free coffee on Election Day (Nov. 8). The fifth quadrennial 7-Election Presidential Coffee Cup Poll officially ends Election Day, and 7-Eleven is closing out the day by giving away cups of fresh-brewed coffee, the convenience store company’s most popular proprietary beverage.

7-Eleven Inc., Dallas, added the new Sprite 6 Mix by LeBron James Slurpee to its lineup of frozen beverages lineup. Inspired by the limited-edition Sprite flavor developed between The Coca-Cola Co. and the NBA superstar, the new Slurpee also features the taste of traditional Sprite mixed with cherry and orange flavors, the company says.

PepsiCo, Purchase, N.Y., has partnered with Dallas-based 7-Eleven Inc.'s convenience stores nationwide to help donate money to Feeding America, a hunger-relief charity that provides emergency food assistance to 37 million Americans each year, including 14 million children and 3 million seniors.
