Sprite, a brand of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co., announced the release of the Summer Sprite Cold Lyrics Series limited-edition packaging, which features cold-inspired lyrics from six of the hottest rappers in the game, the company says.
In his 2003 hit song “Celebrity,” country crooner Brad Paisley sings about the perils of celebrity and “acting like a fool just ’cause you’re on TV.” Yet, many alcohol and non-alcohol beverage brands recognize that the star power of athletes, musicians and actors often equates not only to deeper consumer connections but also to increased brand recognition that translates into sales.

After a number of successful limited-time flavor innovations, Sprite, a brand of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co., is adding two new cherry-flavored products to its beverage portfolio. Sprite Cherry is hitting store shelves nationwide in a 20-ounce PET bottle. The brand also is introducing Sprite Cherry Zero to give fans another zero-sugar and zero-calorie option, the company says. Both new options are caffeine-free and made with 100 percent natural flavors, it adds.

Sprite, a brand of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co., announced it is launching a social media campaign called #DapTheKing to help fans salute LeBron James (also referred to as King James), after the basketball player and Cleveland Cavaliers won the 2016 NBA title, it says.
Following last year’s launch of Sprite 6 Mix by LeBron James, the brand of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co. and the NBA superstar have given the limited-edition flavor a new look and a new name: Sprite LeBron’s Mix.

Directed by Jason Rosenberg of the Bandito Brothers, the video titled "The First Home Game," features James' on-the-court highlight footage as local fans share their anticipation for his first home-court appearance of the season. The video also features Imagine Dragons’ new single "I Bet My Life" as the background track.

Sprite, a brand of Atlanta-based The Coca-Cola Co., is bringing back its limited-edition Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero holiday beverages in response to consumer requests. Both beverages will become available in late September and remain on shelves through the end of the year.
