Big Tea in the Big D is a food, tea and cocktail event with local chef Jason Ferraro of The Establishment.
Chef Jason Ferraro and five-time James Beard Nominee Sharon Hage will create the menu, and Jason Ferraro, along with Cindy Gold, Tea Sommelier and Les Dames d'Escoffier member, will lead attendees through the tasting.
Guests will explore tea’s versatility as a culinary pairing and recipe ingredient, tasting hand-crafted tea cocktails, small bites, beer and wine—each paired with artisan tea. Guests will also be privy to tea pairing tips to help recreate the night in their homes, restaurants or tea shops.
$65 for Specialty Tea Institute (STI) Members, $80 for non-members
All proceeds go to the STI Scholarship Fund.
