The Breastfest Beer Festival, one of northern California’s most prestigious tasting events, will take place July 12 from 2 to 6 p.m. at Fort Mason's Festival Pavilion in San Francisco. All proceeds will fund the nonprofit health center Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic, which supports economically challenged women in their fight against cancer. Last year the event raised more than $40,000 for Charlotte Maxwell Complementary Clinic, and organizers are hoping this year’s turnout raises even more for this cause.
Now in its 14th year, the event brings together more than 80 breweries, several hard cider houses and wineries, and hundreds of local beer lovers. The ticket price includes live music, food, unlimited tastings and a Breastfest commemorative cup.
